Bruce Popko

GENERAL PARTNER

Bruce is a General Partner for Forma Capital.  At Forma, he invests in health and wellness consumer brands in conjunction with culture defining celebrities and athletes that provide an unfair advantage on revenue and brand growth.

Bruce was Partner/Chief Operating Officer for Gioia Capital from 2019-22 where he managed the day-to-day operations for the three companies in Gioia Capital’s portfolio.

Popko was previously the Chief Operating Officer for Pegula Sports and Entertainment (PSE), with management oversight of all business units in the portfolio including the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres along with four other professional teams and 17 additional operating entities.  He served as governor of the Buffalo Bandits and held the role of vice chairman of the National Lacrosse League’s Board of Governors. 

Popko joined Pegula Sports and Entertainment after serving as the chief revenue officer for the Buffalo Bills.  Before joining the Bills, Popko held various management positions with IMG, the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, National Football League and New York Jets. 

Popko graduated with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he earned his MBA in finance and marketing. He currently serves on the boards for Nardin Academy, WNED/WBFO, the Buffalo Renaissance Foundation, and the Law Enforcement Foundation of Western New York.
